Inspect Before First Use: Take the portable potty training seat out of the package and inspect all parts of the seat, frame, legs, bowl, and non-slip grips. Properly clean all parts with warm, soapy water and child-safe disinfectant before first use. Allow to air dry completely. Use an empty potty; fold and unfold it a number of times until you know how it moves before using it with your child.

Put in the removable bowl or line, or dispose of the potty liner, making sure that the edges of the potty liner are folded over the edge of the bowl to prevent them from moving.

Set up Toilet Reducer Mode: Fold the legs into the “compact” position. Lift toddler’s Portable Potty Training seat and place it on top of your adult toilet, so that the reducer ring fits snugly on top of your toilet, forming a smaller opening. Test for stability prior to child seating by pushing down on the seat. There are non-slip grips so that there is no sliding, even on smooth porcelain.
